Where the Journey Began

Through Adversity and Hardship to Restoration and Vocation

Melissa felt the heavy burdens of years of frontline healthcare began to take a toll in 2020. Facing unprecedented burnout she began to look for her own source of rebuilding and restoration---She found the CIINDE--School founded for bringing Holistic Nursing speciality into Canada. This education was transformative and did more than just keep Melissa in the profession; It reconnected her to the very heart of Nursing!

Although the original has evolved, the elements remain foundational. The forget-me-not Flower: A gentle reminder to never forget our own well-being and the vital necessity of self-nurturing. Nature as Source: Representing how we are instinctively nurtured through the creation of plants, animals, water and earth. The butterfly: A symbol of transformations and the fragility of life. Vesta: Rooted in the idea of a welcoming hearth---vesta is the resilient internal fire within us all. It represents commitment to nurture our own internal flame which is essential to effectively being able to care for others.
